Business Development Officer

The Role :-

Working with the Commercial Manager you will be developing new business within mechanical consultants, architects, specifiers, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and House Builders throughout Scotland. The role will be a split of developing relationships with existing clients whilst proactively seeking new opportunities to drive the business success forward. The role is very autonomous where you will be responsible for your own diary and delivery of targets.

The Candidate :-

A background in specification sales with experience in the home improvement market (heating, bathrooms, kitchens etc.). Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop excellent relationships at multiple levels with clients. A tenacious character with a proactive approach to business growth. Experience dealing with contractors, design architects and product specification would be an advantage.
